A lot of people are complaining about whatever they can rn because hating bungie is in fashion (not saying everyone who proposes changes belongs to that group of people). A few of my clan members belong to those people. Before the official patch notes were even released they started getting toxic about how they should rather be working on the important thing like clan rosters, memory leaks etc. instead of stupid PvP scoring systems and how no patch should take more than, like, 10 minutes so why the heck does it take them 4 hours?!
Well turns out that Bungie did not only fix all of those 'more important' things too they also changed the way you join a new patrol session, which (at least for me) made the game so much better. (I believe there was a post a while back, upvoted by thousands about how burning through public events with 5 other people is the best feeling ever.) And they also got the servers back up early!
In the recent TWAB they also announced new weapons for faction rallies (new loot!) and something I'm really looking for: The three streams coming this month where they talk about the next expansion for Destiny 2! This really reminds me of the Age of Triumph(s) streams which were greatly appreciated by the community including myself.

So, to you Bungie, thank you so much! Know that your work is greatly appreciated by a lot of members of this community and let me ask you to keep going the direction you just took the first in.
