I used to be on here as /u/stellarseahorses, I've just powered up my old zeus miner and started to mine Nyancoin again (using hash-two-coin pool) - didn't take long at all - has a raspberrypi for a controller and then a single zeusminer blizzard which puts out 1.3mH/s. I've also compiled the latest wallet for OS X if anyone wants a binary. Next step is to move the whole rig to the garage where it can make as much fan noise as it wants.
For those who are interested for the last 8 months I've been working as one of the devs for RaiBlocks, (it was /u/coinaday who actually directed me to it in the first place). The project has gone a long way from where it was before, the faucet distribution model was both a blessing but then became a curse and that as now been tied up. The team are now in the process of stepping up the game with overhauls of website, rebuilding the community (i'm always inspired by how friendly the nyancoin community is) and getting onto new exchanges. RaiBlocks remains near instant and has zero fees.
If anyone wants to get involved with RaiBlocks then feel free to get in touch, I would be happy to contribute a small starter balance to nyancoin regulars. I actually see a lot of parallels with Nyancoin especially as they are both have zero fees and work well with small transactions. If you have any ideas of thoughts/projects that the team/community could work together on then also get in touch.
