I've been frustratingly bothered by this for a long time, Ive just watched the anime so far and some chapters of the manga and didnt go too deep. So characters keep to push the point that Kaneki isnt "neither ghoul nor human" but is "both ghoul and human", so what exactly makes him still partially human? well he is still technically in human form, LIKE ALL OTHER GHOULS ARE, but he still cant eat human food, the only distinguishable difference on him that I see is his one-eyed feature, is that really all that makes him "half-human"?
