I have only been driving for about six weeks. In that time, Lyft has made it harder and harder to get the Power Driver bonus. Now what would have gotten a ~$150 PDB is only worth $50, not that I would even get to it since getting enough rides during peak hours is hard enough for those with, ya know, a regular job. Guess I'm just not a power driver.
The first week they had streak bonuses, I got three. I was offered one streak the week after but couldn't take it since it was during my regular work hours. Haven't been offered one since, power zones have gone away this week.
The pay is substantially similar to Uber - no better or worse. At least I can be busier with Uber and keep the number of non-passenger miles down. I have seen Uber drivers come and go faster at the airport queue, too.
Now I understand why I see so many drivers with Uber and Lyft stickers. Gotta diversify those income streams.
